Nunyun Bizz "Yes they’re ethnic Han. Their nationality is Taiwanese. Therefore they are Han Taiwanese, not Han Chinese" If you look at a "Taiwanese" passport, under their nationality you see it clearly states that their nationality is CHINESE. Republic of CHINA is a CHINESE state afterall.

As I said, dont use the word "Chinese" in this context, the "people of Taiwan" are also Chinese. Its confusing. Use PRC or ROC. Also, you seem to think that voting in this world is everything when in fact it is not. "中國 was only created when 中華民國 was founded" Wrong. "中國" was used as early as Zhou Dynasty. Its what people called the unified Chinese state throughout Chinas history. Its not an "official" name of the state. "PRC founds People's Starbucks and claim all Starbucks are owned by PRC because, 'Starbucis'" What are you even talking about here...

Elections do happen in PRC. Just their own version. Most countries on this planet have different voting systems. And none of them is perfect. "But it would be true if you insist ROC is China" ROC claims to be China. Its not whether "I" insist or not, its what ROC insists. Its in ROCs constitution. "The world calls her President of Taiwan" The world is ignorant. There is no country on this planet called "Taiwan". The day that Taiwan still flys the Nationalist Chinese flag, the day it is still part of China. "Taiwan is ROC and ROC is Taiwan." Wrong. Taiwan is PART OF ROC. Read ROCs constitution, it clearly refers to Taiwan as a province of China. 'By PRC's own "logic", mainland China belongs to Mongol, Greece get to claim whatever Alexander the Great conquered...' ROC lost the civil war. And by international law, PRC is considered a "successor state", whereby it can claim everything its predecessor state once had. But because ROC lost the Chinese civil war to PRC, PRC claims to be the legitimate ruler of China. "UK had North American mainland ≠ U.S. used to govern UK." Britain GAVE America to the US after losing the war. And America was a COLONY of the British. They fought for independence. Not to overthrow the British government. Its a completely different scenario. Did ROC give mainland China to PRC? No, they lost the civil war so they lost all their territory. Winner claims all. This is how every war has been throughout history. I just want to remind you that both PRC and ROC agree that Taiwan and mainland China are part of the same "One China". The only disagreement is who is the legitimate ruler of this "One China". "LOL. By your logic, PRC is NOT a country, it is PART of a country called ROC currently led by Tsai Ing-Wen" That is not my logic...PRC won the civil war, why would PRC be part of ROC if they won the civil war? My logic is that the China currently governed by ROC led by Tsai, has once lost the Chinese civil war and majority of its territory to PRC. Today ROC only retains Taiwan island under its control, but that does not make "Taiwan" a country. ROC still claims mainland China as part of its territory and still claims to be the country called China. Its written very clearly in ROCs constitution.
