@wzk921109 US and Australias birth rate is not rising. The population increase is due to immigration.

@randomtraveller8116 The 996 youre talking about is only for the biggest tech companies. And they get paid well. So those that you are speaking of can buy a house.

@randomtraveller8116 If you insist thats true, then what industries? Can you provide evidence that thats an industry practice in other industries? Outliers of one or two companies in the industries dont count. We are speak of the actual industry here, not a couple companies.

@WorldCitizenW Teaching is one of the professions that work the least. You have less hours worked per year than any other profession out there. And you dont work till 9pm everyday nor work on Saturdays, thats what the "996" culture is, 9am to 9pm 6days a week.

@GameFuMaster Employees of tech companies get paid really well even if you factor in the hours worked. So not sure what you are on about there.
