@truthboom "China won't back down on their ambition. So obviously Negotiation is pointless for China" More like: The US won't back down on their ambition. So obviously Negotiation is pointless for the US.

@boybawang1981 "The world"? Whats "the world" to you? Countries that are only 1 billion in population out of the 7 billion+?

@truthboom You are talking like the US isnt interfering in another countrys politics and throwing coups here and there. Also, China was the FIRST country in the region to lay claims to these islands in the 1940s. Vietnam and PH first laid their after oil was found in the region in the 1970s. Thats 3 decades after China made their claims. You tell me whos taking whos territory

@truthboom "Oh you are talking about US lame ambition of not gaining any benefits..." Nope. I'm talking about US ambitions on trying to control countries by throwing coups and establishing puppet states. Surely you know what the CIA does right? "It's a claim by Republic of China (ROC) and the island wasn't inhabited until 19th century" And its also claimed by PRC. Its recognised by the world that PRC succeeded ROC on the world stage. Meaning PRC succeeded ROCs sovereign claims. As for inhabitants. NONE of those islands were inhabited. NONE of them. At most it was visited, not inhabited. "All party has historical evidence. Who first to claim means nothing." Legally speaking, historical evidence has no basis in making sovereign claims. Thats why the UN cant do jack about this. Claiming first should be the only thing that matters. Imagine if a country claimed some forest in this US as part of their country. How well would that fare? The one that claims first is the owner, otherwise, there will be violence. Thats how its always been. "Also the nine dash line is using weak historical evidence to support the claim. Using that logic, Africa own every country since it's the origin of Humanity" As mentioned earlier, legally speaking, historical claims has no basis in making sovereign claims. Also, we are talking about modern countries making claims, not ancestors. And Africa isnt even a country. So how does that logic even link?
