@jovimathews Why would China be "grateful" when China is the one spending money in their country? Tourism countries should be "grateful" for where their money comes from.

@SiameseCheese Exactly, "today"- the present. Not the future. You were talking about a policy that is to be enacted in the future that isnt in effect yet. There are no foreign tourists in China - which is what youre on about. The only foreign tourists in China were those from pre-pandemic periods.

@jovimathews What do mean why? And what do you mean its going well so far these past yearS? Japan only RECENTLY opened up their borders internationally. And countries these past yearS all required testing to go inside their borders until recently (some earlier than others some later than others).

But now that borders are open, the tourism industry is going to make big bucks again. Do you not know that? "Yes, China should be grateful to Japan is opening up for Covid stricken country" Oh?
