Anonymous Human Which ones did you think came first? The police? Or the rioters?

Zakary Loreto Youre right. They made it unstable by letting them vote for a HK person to govern HK. They should learn from the British. Install a Governor without asking for their opinions.

@3D Modeller "started as a protest in 2019 and then escalated as the government started making people disappear" It started with fake news which trigger protests. There was no police then. Then as the protesters didnt get what they want, they started destroying their city, thats when the police came in. Not sure what the point youre trying to make is... People dont just "disappear", they get arrested. If you call that "disappear" then Im afraid youll be disappointed that a lot people in countries including the US also "disappear".

@jamesgathings6364 "Why is it when the common people take to the streets It's always for Democracy and freedom ? Never for Communism and authoritarianism ? ...Why is it that Communism has to be forced upon the population ? It is never welcomed by them" Oh boy. Seems like someone doesnt know how CCP came into power...Its exactly because commoners took up the streets and FOUGHT for communism... It was the will of the people. Then and now. With that support, its arguably "democracy" for them well. Just in different form.

@3D Modeller "they mass protested and then the police came in and started fighting them" There was no "fights" to legal protests. Police only started "fighting" when people started breaking the law and refused to cooperate with law enforcers. "after that china sent in the military when they tried to resist" Fake news. The Chinese military never got involved in any protests/riots.
