Ken Jett I dont know where you got those numbers from. Mind sharing your source? What I found was the info everywhere else. US only imports about $350b more than China. And those dont even included services, just physical goods. https://www.usitc.gov/research_and_analysis/trade_shifts_2016/china.htm

Ken Jett "USA has been importing $600 billion MORE of Chinese products than China imports from USA" $600b MORE than Chinese products?? Those are some brainwashed statistics. Even Trump didnt even hit the big "6". And "more"? Really? Also, the US considers the final iphone assembled in China as "Chinese exports". That means the full price of $1000 of the iphone is considered a "Chinese good", where actually realistically China only contributed 1% to the iphone production. Every other part in the iphone was from all over the world. You really think its fair to say USA imports the full $1000 iphone from China when realistically China only spent $10 on it?

Ken Jett "thats just the problem your so called fact checking. You only look for sources that support your opinion. Instead of getting factual numbers and learning the truth" Excuse me? You spoke about having your stats backed by the US Trade commission. I SPECIFICALLY went to the US Trade Commission website and pulled out those stats for you. I just pulled out stats from your source and proved you wrong. Did you even bother looking at your source? Now, if you insist that you are right, the link a credible source supporting your claim.

Ken Jett My claims? These are US Trade Commission claims. This is their website. Read carefully. https://www.usitc.gov/research_and_analysis/trade_shifts_2016/china.htm If anyone here it is YOU that has been brainwashed. Source your claim with evidence otherwise everything you say is void.

Ken Jett $450b is what China sells to the US. Its only a few clicks away to retrieve the other information. The $636b is total trade between US and China, that includes both imports AND exports to and from China. And the deficit you speak of of $376b is the number we were all after. Not the $600b MORE than China you spoke about earlier. So I dont appreciate you saying "thats just the problem your so called fact checking. You only look for sources that support your opinion. Instead of getting factual numbers and learning the truth". Thats wrong on your part. And just FYI, that $376 includes thes full price of iphones of $1000 along with all other finished goods "assembled" in China. Which is a rather flawed way of looking at things. Even though China exports more to the US, the US PROFITS more with trade with China (as the iphone case study has revealed).
