John Sterling & Badass Mother You dont seem to fully understand economics. Maybe you understand a little bit but not enough to understand that a trade war with China will bring all your electronic prices and clothes and whatnot up like crazy. Everything is interconnected. Its not as simple as "lets stop trade with China and benefit".

John Sterling "zero content, zero subscribers, no country of origin, no account creation date" Theres absolutely nothing wrong with having privacy. What was the point of that comment? "Trade should be based on natural resources and climate, not on communist Chinese slave labor. That is what trade was meant for , for each country to trade what they have a surplus of. That is efficient, beneficial trade. Trade was never intended to be a race to the bottom to see which country can abuse their workers and pay them the least. All opinions. And opinions dont matter when it comes to economics. Its the market that drives the economy. What "should" happen or how its "intended" all dont matter. Fair trade is good, but a trade war wont benefit anyone. Everyone will lose, including bystanders.

John Sterling "an America-bashing foreigner, hiding behind its mother's skirt, too embarrassed to say what country it is from" You are entitled to your opinion. You seem to misinterpret everything from everyone. Quote me which statement I have used hurt your feelings so much to call me an "America-bashing foreigner". Go on. Which statement was "America-bashing"? "The fact that TRADE SHOULD BE BASED ON NATURAL RESOURCES (FOR RAW MATERIALS) AND CLIMATE (FOR CROPS) IS NOT JUST AN OPINION, IT IS LOGIC" Again, your opinions are just opinions. They dont matter. What you speak of are primary goods. Those are just raw materials. You missed out on intermediate goods and final goods which are heavily depended on human labour. And most importantly when determining the price of a trade, is the "perceived value". Diamonds for example, its a common piece of rock, yet most males would buy one (or 2 or more) for their wives. 100x its actual value. Its so common and easily made. Why? Perceived value.

John Sterling "Trade based on slave labor is great for the rich and ever-expanding government but it is bad for ordinary people" Again, opinions. Ever expanding businesses get taxed, and tax revenue flow back into the country, meaning the ordinary people benefit (from infrastructure, education, healthcare etc)

John Sterling "The poster is naïve" The fact that you think Im naive for saying diamond is a common piece of rock demonstrates that you cannot discern fact from opinions. "There is more evidence of the poster being naïve" Another ridiculous comment from you that rejects basic economics known throughout the world. Seems like you want to say you know more than professors and economic institutions all over the world. Just because you dont see it with your own eyes doesnt mean it isnt true.

John Sterling "Obviously too naïve to be worth debating anything with" No. Youre the one living in an information bubble. Theres something called the internet out there. Just a simple google search "is diamond common" will suffice.
