  1. Veritasium If I am prisoner #1, and I open box #1 and the box shows 3. I go to box #3 and open it, and it shows 2. Then I go to box #2, open it, and it shows 1. I take it and leave. When prisoner #2 comes in, what does he do? Box #2 is already open, and the prisoner has NO IDEA what that number is. There is no direction from that strategy once a prisoner correctly takes. And sure, there might only be 1 person before him so he will be able to guess it. But what about other prisoners? The more prisoners that go before them and collect the number, the "loop" will have a lot of empty slips which means the prisoners wont know where to go from then onwards. Cant call that a "strategy" imo.

  2.  @entropie-3622  Oh right. Didnt seem logically for me that "find" didnt mean to physically take it away as well. But yeh ok, by your logic then that makes sense.
