@bjorn1583 Sydney is the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. Its said over and over again by Australians in formal events.

@bjorn1583 Not a "nation" by modern Anglo standards, but it was a nation to Aboriginal standards. And if youre right, then why do Australians, including politicians at formal events always say "we acknowledge the traditional owners of the land, the (insert Aboriginal tribe) of the (insert Aboriginal nation), and pay my respects to the elders past and present"?
