@Guesswhokk Lets indeed not forget that Tibet had always been part of Chinas sovereign territory long than USA has been a country. Just because they illegally wanted to be their own country, doesnt mean they can. Its equivalent of Texas and some southern states wanting to be their own country without the approval of USA. What do you think will happen?

@niteeshsingh3466 I dont think India recognises Taiwan is a country.

@theonlycaulfield Since when was it "internationally recognised" as Bhutans land? What document or dialogue from anywhere specifies that? Or is your source "trust me bro"?

@niteeshsingh3466 People that like to be correct cares. Taiwan isnt independent. Theyre dependent on Republic of China, a Chinese state that claims to be the country called China.

@MS-ty8eq WSJ? Yeh never trust MSM. They give one side of the story without giving the other. Its called "disputed territory" for a reason. Its not "Bhutans" territory. Its also claimed by Tibet, China for centuries.

@NarasimhaDiyasena First of all, "China" is what the West calls the Middle Kingdom. Its always existed since time immemorial. Secondly, we are talking about "sovereignty" here, not "control". China had sovereignty over Tibet for longer than USA has been a country, its set in stone, in black and white. There a legal documents to prove it. They allowed Tibet the authority to govern themselves, but make no mistake, sovereignty was still Chinas. Thats the difference between sovereignty and "control". And once the last Chinese Dynasty came to an end, there was an imperial edict (what we call treaty nowadays) that stated that sovereignty over Tibet was to be handed over to the next "China". Ie it was continuous. Everything was enshrined in law. That is why Tibet wanting to be their own little country was illegal. China rightfully took back control when they violated the law first.
