Regardless of what citizens of Taiwan think, if the their government agreed on something called a "One China Policy", then it means a freaking One China Policy.

  2. Minh Nguyen Ho Chi Minh agreed with his best buddy Mao that the Paracel Islands would be Chinas if they help North Vietnam defeat its enemies. North Vietnam won, so the islands were China's. Only when Ho Chi Minh died, the Vietnamese government at that time dismissed that claim. Thats why China sees Vietnam as untrustworthy and unable to keep their words. An agreement is an agreement.
