JackoG Whats this gotta do with China? If it was China dont you think the Australian government would have said so already? Since they didnt, it means they dont know. If they dont know what makes you think the public with ZERO information would know?

Sean Walker How do you know its not the US attacking AUS in the guise of China? So that they can further strain the relationship between China and AUS? Making AUS lean more economically to the US. Food for thought.

@andrewtitchiner1435 "So the United States, a Five Eyes partner and traditional ally of Australia's is doing this as a false flag to create more tension between China and Australia?" I said it COULD be the US. It could be Russia, India, or even some private organisations or country that has beef with China. It could even be a cooperation between the 5 eyes INCLUDING AUS to make such a statement. Why? Itll give Australia (and other 5 eyes) an excuse to back off from China that way with the publics support. "If the US was caught doing this it would destroy relations with the other Five Eyes nations and ruin America's reputation" No. No country has ever been caught committing cyber crimes in the history of this planet. Its impossible to track where the cyber attack is TRULY coming from. So the US or any country doing it would never need to worry about such a thing. "It's far more likely this was the CCP's doing and they didn't think they would get caught" No country can get caught...so because one country is "more likely" to do it then it MUST be that country? Because based on the comments on this video, it MUST be China...In the 5 eyes, the judicial system is innocent until proven guilty...why the double standards? Lets not be hypocrites here. "I suppose it was US spies pretending to be CCP agents a few months back when they were buying up Australia's supplies and sending them back to China?" Why are you bringing up something that is completely legal? And completely OPEN that it was a Chinese company? Moreover Australia was ALLOWING them to ship the goods out. And this was during Dec, Jan and Feb. It was mid-March that Australia crossed the 100 case mark. "C'mon, China has been setting Australia up to be ripe for the picking for decades" And Australia is allowing it...If Australia is openly allowing it, why would China need to covertly "attack" Australia? Just think about it mate.

@bop-ya-good If Im mr CCP, then you are mr CIA. Fair assumption right? My question for you is, how do you know its not the US attacking AUS in the guise of China? So that they can further strain the relationship between China and AUS? Making AUS lean more economically to the US. Food for thought.

@iiiiii8522 You see thats the thing. In Australia and many other countries, in every case we are innocent until proven guilty. Yet all these hypocrites here on this comment section go against their own countries judicial system and accuse others of being guilty without being proven. The hypocrisy is mind boggling...

@bop-ya-good Evidence? What evidence? Words from the reporter you were brainwashed by? It was SUGGESTED that its "state backed". Still no evidence. Scomo already specifically said that there are MANY countries that have the capacity to conduct what has happened when asked if he was referring to a specific country. Tell me, what "evidence" is this that you speak of again?

@iiiiii8522 On the history of this planet, there has been no country caught making cyber attacks on any country. So when you say "China is well known for this kind of attack and there are numerous historic cases of similar scope and nature of these current attacks" Im going to have to call bullsh*t on that. Its impossible to track where a cyber attack TRULY comes from. A Russian hacker could be using US IP to be hacking AUS, and we would all think its the US. So when people think its China, it very well might not be. "They're also very likely to target us because of the recent events between us" Thats a fair assumption to make, however, Chinas enemies could also take this opportunity to make it seem like it is China that hacked Australia when in fact it really didnt. They might want to stir up China-Aus relations even further. So we never know.
