Chinas interests rates given to the borrowers are not "high". "They protect the lender, and never protect the borrower" Of course! Why on earth would ANY loan in this world protect the borrower? Its the lender thats in charge, its THEIR money. Their money, their terms.

Loans between countries are in the hundreds of millions. The collateral also has to be in the hundreds of millions. What assets are worth hundreds of millions if not large infrastructure?
