In fact, Taiwan is currently flying the SAME CHINESE flag before the communist took over. Tell me, can a "country" fly another countries flag as their own? Thats FACT for you. And legally, you need international recognition to be recognised as a country. Taiwan isnt recognised as a country, its not flying their own flag, dont have their own military, their own currency and own government. Everything theyre using is from Republic of China. ROChinas flag, military, current and government, not "Taiwans". What is ROC? ROC is a Chinese state founded in China by Chinese people. Taiwan was incorporated into ROC after WW2, and in ROCs constitution it refers to Taiwan as a province of China.   7. John Smith I never said anything about the 2 states recognising each others legitimacy. I said to be considered a country, you need international recognition to be recognised as a country. Something NK and SK has but Taiwan doesnt have. If youre going to use the word "practically" then might as well add Hongkong and Macau to that too. They have their own flag, government, language, system etc.
