@nofearofwater How is it a "weird phrasing"? The British colonised more than half the world, how many of them are still thriving today? And its not the British that built 99% of HK, it was the Chinese built 99% of HK. Youre just proving my point. Give credit where credit is due. Also, what double speak? Im not even from China. Not everyone that disagrees with you is Chinese you know? What kind of logic is that? And I spoke nothing of "freedoms", I spoke about "rights". The one thats confused is you.

@nmslesecnmbese917 Of the 150+ years of British colony over HK, how many years of that did they have elections? Oh thats right, less than 5%. They introduced elections at the end just before the handover to China to screw things up. And funnily, HK was thriving when they didnt have elections. Also, my country has nothing to do with the video nor HK. Dont try and get personal with me.

@AsterioMetaverse Plenty of poor people in Africa and Middle East having many children. Theyre doing fine with their minuscule finance. You just dont want to sacrifice your standard of living for kids thats all. Having children is a sacrifice

@Unwebonnn If you still think the UK has free speech, you need to read the news. And of those people you speak of, thatll depend on how offensive they were on the criticism. And how do you know theyre ALL alive? If no one knows, then it means they also "disappeared".

@jvzn Like I said, it depends on how offensive the criticism is. Not everyone that provides a criticism is constructive. There are criticisms that involve offensive remarks, such as h8 speech, rayshaI diskrimynayshun, doxing, harayesment, def threts etc. Its precisely that I know about it that I can speak about it. Ill say your words right back at you: "Maybe don't speak about what you don't know".

@theviniso I know that already? Whether they want to or not, having children decreases ones quality of life. You and your spouses income effectively decreases. Literally everyone makes that sacrifice. But sometimes that sacrifice is less notable if youre wealthier thats all

Just 1 example, people are getting arrested criticising the government for allowing X immigrants for coming into their country. The criticisms are resonating with locals so much that they are protestings against such policies. People then got arrested for "inciting hatred". There is no freedom of speech in UK. H8 sbeech is illegal there. And again, your criticism is only allowed if its "tamed" or constructive. Its untamed criticism, like what we have here, then bad luck, youll get arrested. Thats no freedom of speech at all.
