@draculwarmz96 All the points you have raised clearly shows you havent read the bill. For an extradition request to proceed, the fugitive must have committed a crime that IF committed in HK, they would face sentence of at least 7 years imprisonment. Since freedom of speech and religion is not a crime in HK, the extradition request cannot proceed. Political fugitives are also exempt from this bill. Read the bill before spreading fear mongering propaganda. As for the illegal kidnappings. That shouldnt have happened. It is worrisome indeed. But how did you know it was the Chinese government that kidnapped them on HK soil and not underlings of the person they defamed? It was only when on Chinese soil that he was formally arrested.

@draculwarmz96 Who said the HK government doesnt play by the rules? You say the bill is proposed by both China and HK. Do you have evidence that China was in any way or form involved in the bill? Even if you dont trust the HK government, you can at least trust HKs independent judiciary courts. They are the ones that have the final say on any extradition request. Like I said, how did you know it was the Chinese GOVERNMENT that kidnapped them from HK and not a personal kidnapping of those the booksellers offended? On HK soil that is. And you said the HK government failed to respond. What did you expect them to do about it?
