@phantom4E2 Fun fact: there are mo combustion engines catching fire more each year than an EVs, even when taking into consideration of proportions

@glennv3176 "So however many gas stations there are now, multiply that number by 100, that's how many charging stations you'd need for infrastructure" Why would you make that assumption? I have about 10 gas stations within the vicinity of a 10 mins drive from me. Now why would I need access to 1000 charging stations within 10 mins drive from me? Thats ridiculous. And the company I spoke of before was called NIO, they already have battery swap stations that I mentioned previously. And the station is smaller than your average gas station. And theres also fast charge stations that charge 20 to 80% in 15mins.

@glennv3176 A normal 60L mid/large sized sedan can drive about 600km in urban areas. The current EV equivalent also has about 500km range. Also, in my country, most people live in houses and have their own garage. Even those living in unit/apartments all have their own parking. Basically over 95% of the population in my country can charge EVs at home. So overnight, the battery will be 100% full with 500km range. Theres absolutely no reason for 1000 EV charging stations within the vicinity of 10min drive from us...Youre honestly not making any sense...

@glennv3176 Actually, theres a EV car company that completely removes and replaces a fully charged battery at their stop. So no need to wait. And why would you make an example of cords hanging out of 17th floor apartments? In time, there will be proper infrastructure to charge in private AND public parking lots. It might not work for YOU, but it works for most.
