J O K E R The symptom of the coronavirus is pretty much the same as the flu. People die from the flu as well. Do you think countries in summer should be banning flights from those countries in winter?

@balanardodia1132 Stup*d? More people die from flu each year than any epidemic weve experienced in modern times. More than SARS, MERS and Ebola combined. A virus is a virus. Doesnt matter how much you know about it, people still die from it. As for your sun burn vs forest fire analogy. Now THAT was stup*d. The variables arent even the same. Might as well compare death from birth to death from old age. Both scenarios you both die...

I never said nothing should be done about it. I was responding to the person that thinks countries in summer should ban ALL people from the opposite side of the hemisphere coming into the country simply because SOME people in that country are infected by a common flu. There is indeed a huge difference from the number of people dieing from a common flu virus which has been extensively studied compared to a new virus that has been recently mutated. Whats the "huge difference" you might ask? Its simply the number of deaths. More people die from a common flu every year than any epidemic in recent times. Whether itd be SARS, MERS or Ebola. Thats the difference. Extensive research doesnt mean anything if more people are dying. If you want to stop people from a country with less than 0.01% of their population infected by a virus coming into your country, thats fine, but dont discriminate. Also stop people from a country with less than say 1% of their people infected by a common flu. People die from the flu as well afterall. We dont want our people to be infected and die from a foreign flu virus too dont we? "also know china is very similar to north korea in the fact that a building could be engulfed in flames behind them and the chinese would maintain everything is wonderful" I call bullsh*t on that. Please provide me of a real case scenario where a building in China was engulfed in flames and the Chinese would maintain that everything is "wonderful".

@hugoanderkivi Of course I do. You know what I also know? Numbers. That is why I said if we are going to block of ALL of China for their less than 0.01% infected citizens (number is actually closer to 0.00001%), then we should also block out countries that citizens infected with a flu rate of 1%. Thats already at least 10000x the figure. And I dont know what you mean by "infectiousness". Any and everyone that has someone infected sneezed on them is pretty much 100% infected.

@daviboiify I am aware that they downplay things. But to say they say something that is obviously disastrous as "wonderful", thats a bit of a stretch. Im not a fan of f@ke news.

Simple , as all the flues come from there" And EVEN IF you were talking about coronavirus, MERS (2012), another recent coronavirus, originated in the Middle East. So much for as "all" the "flues" or coronaviruses comes from China...Just admit it, youre ignorAnt (with an "a"). Also, did I tell you what you can or cannot comment on? I said you are not qualified to make comments on my spelling as you have made more incorrect spelling than I did. In fact, I arguably made no spelling errors. I merely chose not to use apostrophes for simplification purposes. You on the other hand made so many errors.
