If 100% of the people stay at home 100% of the time yes that is correct. But we all need to eat and buy essential items time to time, we get in contact with people. That why most countries around the world is limiting these travels during the stay-at-home period to essential travels only, and when you do go out you have to wear a mask. "And if this is correct then everyone is free to decide what they prefer to do like we use to be free before" This type of behaviour significantly increases the rate of transmission throughout the city/state/country. Only thinking about themselves but not others is the very definition of selfish. Why should grocery shoppers in every stay-at-home household face a significant increase in risk posed by these people travelling about with their non-essential shopping? And I emphasise of the word SIGNIFICANT increase in risk. Imagine a whole shopping complex, only 5% are supermarkets for essential goods. So the risk of contracting the virus is extremely low. But if other shops are open and people shop in it thatll increase the number of people by at least 10x the amount. Thats 10x more exposure to a virus. Because remember, its airborne, and remember, not everyone follows the rules and abide by the standard social distancing rules and wear masks.
