@patrickdavenport6254 Guess what? People dont like it they can leave. The money came from his pocket FIRST. He paid people FIRST, before they made him more money.

Starship Captain He owns the freaking company. He can do what he wants with his own private property. Hes paying those people out of his pocket afterall. If they dont like it they can leave. Simple as that.

@OOzd95 There IS NO "competitor" to Tesla or SpaceX atm

4 legs & 4 paws So companies around the world that demand their employee to work in office pre-pandemic are "bullies"? Even when they could work remotely? Moreover, since when visionaries cant be bullies? Its not one or the other you know?

@patrickdavenport6254 Youre a fool if you think he NEEDED them. The VALUATION of his company, BEFORE hiring anyone is already in the millions. Thats same with every other lucrative startup. All startups valuation is inflated simply because their IDEA is that good. So dont go about saying he couldnt make money without them. He made millions without them just from having an idea of his own.

@starshipcaptain4753 Hes not just a "CEO". Hes the largest freaking shareholder of the company. He has more control over the company then anyone on this planet. "My point was Elon is very efficient and spends much of his time working remotely" Elon regularly works 80-100 hour workweeks. And he also spends a lot of time on site too. Hence why he says if they want to work remotely, they can, after the 40hr mark.

@4legs4paws55 "pretty much yes" Guess 99% of the companies in the world to you are "bullies" then. All I can say is you are entitled to your opinion. "Employees are reluctant to implement them even though studies show that a lot of people are more productive more happy" Lol. You are so out of touch to reality if you think theyre more productive working from home. During the pandemic Im getting stories all over the place in my news feed of my friends watching their favourite TV series on another computer, or out and about during work hours doing whatever they want. "And there are many reasons why musk is not a visionary but a con artist" Then explain why people are buying Tesla products? And explain how because of his vision, Tesla was valuated by investors to becoming a $1 billion company even without making a single $1 of profit in their early days? And explain how throughout history, how the wealthiest people in the world became wealthy without being a visionary? Youre clearly in denial here...

"First my point is well taken he spends a lot of his time working remotely and is efficient" A lot? Whats a lot? 20 hours? Even with 20 hours working remotely, hes still spending more than 40 hours working on site. Which is what hes asking his employees to do. "He also is not the owner of the company and can't do anything he want" HE IS. I literally stated that hes the largest shareholder of the company, and that he has more control over the company than anyone on this planet. What dont you understand about that? That literally means he is the largest owner of the company in the entire world. "His bully tactics are hurting him rather than helping" You dont know what youre talking about here. Hes been like this before Tesla even existed. If its "hurting him" when why has Tesla grown to what it is today? And why has his wealth increased to become the richest man in the world?

"Respect your employees don't threaten them" Thats not a threat. Im pretty sure thats in the contract already. Hes referencing back to the contract. Nothing wrong with saying abide by the contract or dont work for us.

@starshipcaptain4753 As long as you understand

@starshipcaptain4753 We couldve left it as it is, but you just had to say its my "opinion"... Him owning the largest controlling share of Tesla in this world giving him the most power in the company is a fact, not an opinion. Him working 80-100 hour work weeks is also a fact, not an opinion. His so-called "bully tactics" made him the richest man in the world instead of "hurting him", is also another fact, not opinion.

@4legs4paws55 I dont think we agreed to disagree? You were just outright in denial. And what twitter debacle you talking about? His acquisition of it? His mass layoffs? Be specific

@BrandonClark-StocksPassports Overestimation is based on data. Dont forget, he is where he is now based on his "overestimation". Havent you heard of the saying? Shoot for the Moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars
