These protesters are ignorant of the bill amendment. Just another protest based off misunderstanding and fear. Contrary to what they believe, HK people will lose no freedom from this bill amendment. And the world is just blindly supporting all these people just for the sake of "supporting freedom". So stupid. There is no loss of freedom!

@johannacannata1090 That is correct. The power of brainwashing coupled with fear mongering mob mentality.

Brainwashed. Thats propaganda. Did you even read the bill?

@MrRAYGUN5555 "it also leaves the Chinese government in charge to kick people out of their homes who haven’t done anything wrong" What are you talking about? HK is in charge. What does the fugitive bill got to do with kicking people out of homes?

shin chan "if they can get to hk, they can also go elsewhere" Thats the point. To close that loophole. Once a fugitive arrives in HK (in the future) they can be extradited. This bill is for extraditing criminals. "This bill is only a tool to consolidate more power over Hk by arresting those who practice free speech to speak out against CCp" You seem to be brainwashed. Have you even read the amendment? It clearly states that it must be a crime in HK of at least 7 years imprisonment for an extradition request to progress. Freedom of speech is not a crime in HK, therefore the extradition request cannot progress through. Moreover, political fugitives are exempted in this bill. So what is it that you fear again?

@MrRAYGUN5555 HK government is in charge. The government of HK has been given the authority by PRC to be in charge. Are you really that misinformed?
3
Dream Hollow They dont have diplomatic relationship with any country in this world, no military, and isnt recognised a country. Not even close to being a nation. I'll also add that their authority to govern themselves is given by PRC. Stick with facts. Not wishful thinking.

And you should worship President Trump

@ethancook7730 He is wrong. And you are also wrong. Even if PRC considers anything a crime, it MUST also be a crime in HK with imprisonment of at least 7 years before any extradition treaty can progress through. So even if someone speaks out against the Chinese government within HK, its not a crime within HK, therefore the extradition request cannot progress through. Youve been brainwashed by propaganda to think that China (or any country) can just take anyone they want from HK.

ngcmnh Why? What do you fear? This is closing the loophole for fugitives.
