I made nothing up. So how did I supposedly "embarrass" myself? Youre the one making stuff up by insinuating that I (and other people here) get paid 50 cent per comment. Like wtf?! And I know what a subsidy is tyvm. I also know that every country has different laws and regulations on the nuance of the word. Do you? And dont put words in my mouth. Who said I said it was "too much to read"? Whos making stuff up now aye? I said I have NO INTEREST in reading something with laws and frameworks about another country/region other than my own. YOU might have INTEREST in doing so, but I rather spend my time on other things I have INTEREST on. I came into this convo speaking absolutely nothing about the EU or WTO, so why the faq should I need to know "anything" about it? Again, would you like to read about a paper from Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Mexico, Japan, India and other countries too just because they have some "findings" on Chinas EV industry relevant to their own countrys regulations? Would you like to waste your time on that just to have a conversation with someone on the internet about that? Doubt it. Im also going to take a wild guess you also dont have an INTEREST in doing so as well. Right?

@Siethon1 They stopped their subsidises a few years back. It was sudden and most Chinese EV companies went bankrupted overnight. CNBC would never report that

@tooltalk We are talking about the EV industries here, ie the EV companies. You are speaking about subsidies to consumers, something completely different. Subsidies for EV companies suddenly stopped a few years back thats why so many EV companies crashed overnight.

@tooltalk Subsidies to the industry/company is completely different to subsidies to consumers. We are talking about subsidies to the industry/companies here. Subsidies to the industry/company ended a few years back - and over 80% of Chinas EV companies disappeared overnight. If youre going to talk about subsidies to consumers, then the importing country can also subsidise consumers on going green.

@tooltalk Youre wrong. They did. Just because you cant find that information in another language doesnt mean they didnt. It was disclosed that why 80% of their EV companies declared bankruptcy in advance simply because the end of their subsidy was disclosed beforehand. You dont know what youre talking about here. And your second comment is irrelevant. That doesnt change the fact that China no longer subsidies their EV industries. And how are they mean to reveal something that they dont even have? Can you disclose all the skeletons in your closets for us to see? Oh you cant prove you have none? That means you refused to disclose. See how that works?

@tooltalk Lol if you going to go all the way to target the supply-chain thats got nothing to do with the company such as mining, then literally everything on this planet is subsidised. As long as gas is subsidised, which it is, and every mining vehicle uses gas, then every subsequent intermediary or end product produced from the minerals are considered "subsidised" based on your logic. Based on that logic, even my screwdriver is "subsidised"... And this comment isnt about EU findings, so why would I bother to read it? Whats considered a "subsidy" is different from country to country. Just like how you considered a gas subsidy of vehicles in the supply chain is considered a subsidy for the EV industry (or a screwdriver) which I personally find ridiculous. If youre going down that route then I have nothing more to say to you. And if the WTO forbid such practice, they why hasnt China been kicked out of the WTO? Obviously they havent broken any rules to reach that stage. There are minute details in the clauses that allows certain exemptions if done a certain way. China isnt stupid. There are always loopholes to things. And they have taken advantage of that. Can you blame them for that? Blame the West that created the WTO if you want to point fingers. The West created the rules
