cyclonicleo The government of "Taiwan" claims to be the country called CHINA. It even once sat in the UN representing the country called CHINA with the worlds recognition.

@Erik-v6l Your nationality of your passport says yours Chinese. Youre DNA says youre Chinese. Youre Chinese. You can also be called Taiwanese, just like people from Shanghai are called Shanghainese, and people from Hainan are called Hainanese. But theyre all still Chinese.

@glorioustrap "ROC had Regime Changes from the Beijing government to the Nanjing government, it was an era marked by civil unrest and war" There was NO "regime change". Its has been the same "regime" all along. They just moved their capital multiple times, last being in Taipei.

@glorioustrap Sun Yat Sens Nationalist government was also in Beijing at the start. ROCs capital was Beijing from 1912–1928.

@glorioustrap Im pretty sure I made my point pretty clear in my last comment... Do you consider US Republican government change to US liberal government a "regime change"? Also, the Nationalist government was also a "Beijing government" at the start. So dont say "ROC had Regime Changes from the Beijing government to the Nanjing government" - which was what my initial comment was referring to. The communist PARTY (not government) once cooperated with the nationalist government. The communist "government" wasnt "part of" it.

@glorioustrap Read carefully. I never said Beiyang government was the same as the Nationalist government. Republic of China was not unified at that time. So there were MANY cliques under Republic of China. Moreover, you seem to keep missing the key point. You said "ROC had Regime Changes from the Beijing government to the Nanjing government". And Im telling that is wrong. There was no regime change from "Beijing government to the Nanjing government". After the Nationalist party took over Beijing, the capital was still Beijing. They reallocated the capital to Nanjing AFTERWARDS. It was no "Nanjing government" to begin with. It was also a "Beijing government" at the start. Also, the communist PARTY were not "part of" the Nationalist KMT PARTY. The government had ZERO control over the communists. It was merely cooperation only. Nothing was set in stone at that time. It was still chaos. Whos making the bold and unfounded statements now?

Alan Lee When Google, YouTube, Facebook, Yahoo, and Dropbox adheres to local Chinese laws. But they refused to do so. Moreover, PRC already stated multiple times that Taiwan will have a high degree of autonomy under PRCS "one country, two system" model just like HK and Macau. And they both have access to your Google, YouTube, Facebook, Yahoo, and Dropbox.
