  2.  @bobjacobson858  But they support him. The difference is merely the process. The government is still for the people. Peoples lives are in China are getting better year by year. Just look at what their lives were likes a decade or 2 ago compared to now.

  3. @alicelove8910 The government of TW is called the Republic of China. Republic of China is one of the founding members of the UN and represented the country called "China". In TWs constitution, they still to this very day claim to be the country called "China". And the whole world follows the "One China" principle, whereby there can only be "One China". Thats why.

  5. ​ @bobjacobson858  That doesnt change the fact that 92% of Chinese support the Chinese government (according to a Harvard study). Thats what the essence of democracy is: ruled by the people, for the people. Its just a different form of democracy from the West, thats why you dont understand. Or refuse to understand? And yes, even in non-coastal areas, GDP growth and their quality of life has grown exponentially compared to life a decade or 2 ago. How is that "fooling" the rest of the world? They literally lifted those people out of extreme poverty
