  2. There is one problem with the current Indian technical educational system. The textbooks are all set in a different time zone and the case studies do nothing to develop a habit of thinking about national needs. And then these students grow up to be managers of research programs and so it goes. Engineering faculty should go the extra mile to attune the minds of the students to India's national needs by developing national priorities as case studies. There is also a need to inculcate a precision and accuracy mindset right from school age with a low tolerance for 'good enough'.
