"pro India is perceived to be anti west."
1
This is what Shri Shekhar Gupta's Cut The Clutter could have been if he would venture a bit away from the tired Congress-BJP political cricket and bhajan of the 'west'.
1
@NostalgiaNeka you left out sabotaging democracies.
1
@sariat2307 We all need to buy things that are locally manufactured and and sell things that are locally manufactured.
1
@PranitSuman The right question is, which book of NCERT taught children that chess originated in their country?
1
@SATWIKRAJ-x3b that’s a bit like saying Shakespeare didn’t write in current English, he wrote in proto English. 😀 true though, modern editors cleaned him up quite a bit.
1
This is good, but curiously, I don't see any stories on how much NVDIA 'compute' Indian firms have bought. What does bringing AI to Indian firms mean? We need concrete numbers, for example, on how many H100 chips were bought by Indian firms.

"This is a good thing… era of expansionism policy is over. Nature needs a break"

syrup water pusher selling milk: irony. is. dead.
1
ESL headline syndrome. He hardly 'lashed' out. He laid it out in as polite a manner as possible.
1
The rah rah buzz around AI is hopefully veering around to the reality of AI. Is a threat to humanity.
1
Beauty pageants are a poorab socially sanctioned objectification of women. So-rose gyani should speak up in op-ed pages. Somehow though, I think they will be venting instead on women's right to be objectified.
1
@Abhilashreddy4 I am awed by how you could insert casta even into a discussion about chip manufacturing!!
1
NYT headline from last year: "Argentina Elects Javier Milei in Victory for Far Right: Argentina’s next president is a libertarian economist whose brash style and embrace of conspiracy theories has parallels with those of Donald J. Trump." Bodes well for America. This one from CNN: "Far-right outsider Javier Milei wins Argentina’s presidency". The LW ing press scatters far-right epithet like bird seed.
1
Dig deeper please, this looks like a structural shift.
1
Deeply unfortunate and hateful tragedy. However, this is not an ‘India’ incident. It is rape by some men in Jharkand. The press which is usually alert about a casta angle to everything in Bharat hasn’t yet asked what the ‘caste’ of the perpetrators is.
1
Weren't Goan writers sneering at the 'loud' 'native' tourists just a few months ago for lacking propah 'culture'? They were not good enough then; did they suddenly become dear?
1
@vicmath1005 "They never celebrated their art riches. " Yeah, they were too busy trying to survive under colonial occupation.
1
@vicmath1005 This is so laughably ignorant that I won’t waste further time engaging in discussion on the point itself. You are either knowingly spewing colonial propaganda, truly ignorant, or brainwashed. Consider this elementary statistic: what was the literacy rate when the British left?
1
@alvanrigby6361 A bit like your neighbour snatching your TV and charging you a fee to watch it in his living room.
1
@alvanrigby6361 Actually, you are right. TVs are trivial. It is more like snatching your family photo album and charging you a fee to look at it.
1
@vicmath1005 I think you shd look up the literacy rate in Bharat when the British left.
1
@vicmath1005 do you know where the market for them is?
1
@vicmath1005 I'll give you 3 examples and stop there. It will be my good deed for the day in helping improve you: 1) Nataraja bronze smuggled out of TN in 2006. Recovered from National Gallery of Australia 2) Ardhanariswara smuggled out of TN in 1980s. Recovered from Art Gallery of New South Wales. 3) Buddha head from Bihar. Smuggled out of India and auctioned in UK. Recovered in 2006. There are many more examples. Please use this as a starting point to research more and better educate yourself. Good luck!

Getting overly partisan to any group is not good. This includes making societal arguments favouring one or the other sex.
1
Kanedda straightening up? Not really. The cynicism in Shri Trudeu's actions is vomit-inducing.
1
Did you outsource the thumbnail creation to BBC-NYT-Guardian combo? India 'militarising' its own territory?! What kind of language is that?
1
@phillipchan6919 IMF white people delusion
1
They are not anti-Muslim rallies, they are a cry-for-help rallies.
1
Is good
1
Fair point, but I am sure it pinches a bit
1
Is interesting, Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity council. There is a need for a Bharat Hindu Buddhist Sikh Jain Unity council.
1
Govt should use policy to tweak what food gets processed. Engineer policies that encourage minimally processed foods like canned tomatoes and rajma, and discourage potato chips, breakfast cereals and a thousand varieties of snack mixtures. Taxation may be a route to achieving this.
1
The tourism minister should be putting pressure on his President, not on Bharat.
1
You should avoid unnecessarily combative headlines. This is a simple business story - don't turn it into war.
1
When is someone going to hold Rahul ji to task? The siblings are The Untouchables, as in the Hollywood film. Had they won, it would have been all about Rahul ji, now the loss is all about Congress.
1
@summerbreeze5115 Not really. Jan aankh khule tabhi savera samjho. New car companies coming up all the time.
1
What the young lady is asking for is that all people marry in an aesthetic where you have to look closely before you can figure if it is a wedding or a funeral.
1
I wouldn't trivialize the news, but you have a point about R&D.
1
@ Clearly, you don't have the habit of looking into a mirror.
1
@ Don't need to. My comment was for your benefit. Reflect on the irony bridging your first and second sentences.
1
Walmart and Amazon squeeze the last drop of blood out of small businesses - ask the small businesses in America about them. You get what you pay for, and greed for cheap goods destroys society.
1
Bad idea. Economic backwardness serves on its own for the purpose of social justice, without everyone having to be stamped on the forehead with casta label. Will only strengthen casta consciousness. Many people agree that casta consciousness must be annihilated for an egalitarian society - you can't have it both ways. The jiu jitsu balak only wants it as yet another societal wedge.
