  1.  @jaswath9378  Idiotic response. What you call 'bodies' are the government too, not just the people sitting in the parliament. Laws are created for public good and are not written in stone. They can be amended to achieve desired societal ends using all levers available to policy makers. That is, you don't need to turn into a police state to shut down gambling apps. People opposing this reasonable thinking also likely think that insisting on seatbelts is a nanny/police state.

  6.  @kevinmathew2973  you should care because none of us is an island, and we are all connected to each other as part of society. to give you an example, let us say a company says ‘let me chop of all the trees in the fores’ and I give you lumber at such prices that it will feel almost free. I am sure you wouldn’t want that because cheap in this context has a cost associated with it that is easy to visualise. Destroying established Kirana networks has a similar cost to society, and if each of us only cares about what we pay to Amazon, that is neither fair nor safe in the long run. You should look up anti-trust laws in America, if you’re not familiar with them.

  11. Bharat EV makers should clearly articulate their needs in terms of tech. And then, they can't do the development alone. Form a consortium (e.g. Tata, Mahindra, Maruti, and more) and then coalitions with university labs and govt labs and fund the lab research. Not clear that this is happening now. Most of Tesla's battery tech comes from a single university professor's research lab.

  22. India needs all hands, 360 push on tech. Using beg, borrow and steal, China has become a tech giant rivalling Amer ca. The story is in plain pictures for those who can see. The onus is on Tata, Mahindra, Infosys but I suspect they lack the education (no offence) or urgency to see it.
