  1. Bharat EV makers should clearly articulate their needs in terms of tech. And then, they can't do the development alone. Form a consortium (e.g. Tata, Mahindra, Maruti, and more) and then coalitions with university labs and govt labs and fund the lab research. Not clear that this is happening now. Most of Tesla's battery tech comes from a single university professor's research lab.
