  1. No! They just decided to take the shortcut by using low cost materials. They've lost touch with reliability and dependability quality parts. They're not what they use to be where quality and long term reliable parts was that gave them that dependable vehicle motto. Now they're just made 85% of plastic and short term reliable material throughout all their vehicle. What was once dependable for the long term is now just a thing of the past.   2. ​@EBIndy yep and there's a whole lot more of them that only knows how to gas and brake pedal. As for maintenance they rather just drove it til things falls apart, then toss it after 5 years. And they go buy another one. And that new one becomes the same victims as their previous vehicle of neglect.

  3. Why did they do away with the cast iron block? The weight saving is all total BS. They should've stuck with the cast iron block for long-term reliability.
