  2. The old life boats on the Titanic. IMO even if she had been built with the original number of boats she was designed with it would not have made a difference. Given the design flaw of not building the watertight compartments up to a common surface she was doomed. She also should have had the double bottom extended up to the water line. Damn the cost.
