  1. I used to have access to large steel balls from ball bearings (1) and other applictions. I had some about 40 mm in diameter. I pulled them out at coffee one Saturday and started quoting Bogey. 1) A ball bearing is the complete assembly. By themselves the balls are just steel balls. Not to be confused with big brass balls

  2. If the US did ice cream. And the Brits did beer. Fid the French have Vineyard ships. In the 1960s there was a really bad Bob Hope service comedy where Hope is searching for a sunken transport full of "Milwaukee Holy Water"

  3. Haven't had a root heer float since I was a kid about 60 years ago.

  4. Dry Ice also is great for freezing parts to shrink them. If no dry ice is available a CO2 extinguisher will work.
