  1. I do not underetand why NASA is not putting more research into the skin tight or Mechanical Counterpressure Suit. There is orwas an ongoing research program at MIT. NASA and the Air Force did do development work on MCS type suits in the 1950s and 60s. Such a suit would likely require a protective over suit and possibly a cooling/heating system. Such suits were tested in vacuum chambers.
