  2. If your level of academic achievement isn't high enough to meet the standards demanded by the university but you are admitted based on another factor you are being set-up for potential failure. Note I said potential. I think most rational people want to see the applicants with the best qualifications hired or admitted. No matter their race, sex or orientation.

  15. I live about a mile from where this took place. Was it a justifiable? I do not know because I do not know the complete story (OK, double negative, so sue me). There is supposedly other video that shows the victim in the shooting wrestling with the officers just prior to the shooting. The video of the shooting has content that has obviously been edited out. Did the officer fire his weapon too many times? Probably. But aderinaline and an semi-auto make that easy. No matter what someone's opinion is on this I fully support your right to hold that opinion and voice it. Voicing that opinion does not give one the right to commit acts of looting and arson. Numerous businesses have been looted and burned. Some of those structures had apartments on second or third floors. People have lost the homes. There were reports last night of a caravan of approximately 200 vehicles which drove north on I-94 and entered the city from the north. Thieves looted one large combination box store and attempted to loot another one plus a sporting goods store. I think what the object there was we can figure out. One of the structures that people attempted to set fire was the main public library. I fully expect another night of looting
