  3. Ask someone who favors equality of outcome if they were ould be in favor of enduring that every sporting event being required to end in a tie. At the end of the season every NFL team just as an example has the same record. Every time gets a Lombardi Trophy and all players get a ring. I know it's an extreme dumb idea. But in essence that is what equality of outcome boils down to.

  7. While l despise the whole DEI concept of hiring a set percentage of "oppressed minorities or protected classes". I also despise how things could go the other way. Out and out racism or nepotism. Hiring and promotions need to be color blind, gender blind, sexual preference blind etc. The only thing that should count is qualifications and skills.

Why is it liberals and others always seem to have the opinion that the US should enter into negotiations be it international trade, security and other fields where the US always gives away the store. I will give you one example. The Machine Tool Industry. Machine tool builders in the US have to pay taxes on assets including spare parts, finished but unsold machines and other items. Yet foreign builders could ship brand-new machines into the US. Put them in warehouses at the ports of entry. But the machinery was not considered "imported" until it was shipped. That meant the builders could stock machinery and have it delivered within weeks of the order being placed or quicker than that. They could ship the machinery as soon as the customer had the foundation in place. US builders had to build to order adding months to delivery times.

  9. Colors as related to US political parties. Democrats. Blue. Either depressed or mellowed out. Republicans. Red. Angry or reactionary. About thirty years ago the folors got switched by the media. Could it be the media realized that in many peoples minds red was associated with the USSR and communism. And many in the media leaned Democrat. And most still do Third parties. Greens. Self expanatory. Party symbol should be a watermelon. Green on the outside. Red on the inside. Fits as they are basically environmentally concerned Socialists Libertarians. Grey or mud colored. Fits as their positions are muddled IMO. LGBTQ+ABCDE........ Variable depending on what is the latest "victim" group. Unity Party. White. All colors combined

  10. Trade Wars and tarrifs rarely work. If a nation wants to protect its own industry and agriculture the best way to do it is ensure your own homegrown products are as good as anything else built in the world or better. But with US businesses its not the next ten years its this quarterly report.

  12. Everytime l hear the world re-education in a political sense (1) the first thing that comes to mind is the re-education camps in the former South Vietnam. 1) And that is what this is. It is political not professional.
