I used to subscribe to National Geographic, Scientific American and read Nature at the local library. Quit subscribing over 20 years ago. You could see the trend then.

@Winstonsmithsalias Depending on the species of Wisteria it can collapse arbors and fences. Thankfully l don't live in the botanical range of Kudzu. Although we have Wild Cucumber. Which while it can be pretty will grow over and choke out just about anything. When it floors it looks like the supporting plant or structure has frosting spread over it.

Hunter Gatherers also tend to eat a lot more organ meats than agriculturalists. But if the agriculturalists are also raising livestock they may have a much more reliable source of animal protein.

@Damo-np7ul Widely travelled. He's been to the Moon and had a famous pair of trousers. AKA Wallace.

@michaelgregory9929 Even if Cheddar Man was dark skinned that does not mean he was culturally Sub Saharan African. And Sub Saharan does not automatically mean heavily melanated skin tone. Witness the San. Who used to live all over Southern Africa. When are they going to get reparations from the Bantu?

I really don't care if Neaneerthal had heavily melanated skin or not. The same goes for Cheddar Man or the Old European Hunter Gatherers. Heavily Melanated skindoesnot mean they were culturally like Sub Saharan Africans. When l was a wee sprout the neighbor across the street came home after being stationed for two years in Libia. He was tanned darker than a lot of so called blacks. In my opinion the only way to judge the actual state of a persons normal skin color is at birth or areas on their body that never sees the direct sunshine.
