  1. Who matters more to the functioning of a society. The guy that picks up your garbage. Or an actor. The guys that are out repairing a water main break at 1:00 in the morning when it's -10°F. Or the English lit majors. The electrical linemen after an ice storm knocks out power. Or the ________ Studies majors. Do not misunderstand me. Education is wonderful. But so is common sense.

  2. If l were advising kids about college today unless they want to go into a STEM field l would advise them not to. I'd tell them to look into a tech school or an apprenticeship. Burdening yourself with student debt in a field you cannot find a job in is pointless. Plus the Education Industry needs to be de-politized. I not sure how we can accomplish that beyond checking the whole system and starting over.

  4. She never really had to run a competitive campaign. The one time she came up against real competition in 2020 she was the first or one of the first to drop out. In 2020 the Democrats had a viable female candidate but knew cked her under the bus because she would not toe the party line. That was Gabbard.

  5. The Democrats started abandoning the working class (1) in the 1970s. Mainly because of the rapid increase in college degrees. Then with NAFTA they kicked them to the curb completely. They bought into the whole Post Industrial Society bullshit. The elites seem to think that a modern society can just purchase all of those things that require dirty hands to make from overseas. Maybe for a small wealthy country you can. But for a country the size of the USA with its internal and foreign security needs you need a national steel industry. You need a national Semi Conductor industry. You need a national energy sector. Plus not everyone is suited to a University education. What do we tell that portion of society. That they aren't allowed to have a dream of a better future? That they'll have to work for minimum wage for the rest of their life? Just take the welfare check and watch TV? For all the idiots who say we can just purchase everything from China what do you do when they say. Sorry, we're not selling. 1) For a supposedly classes society how come we have a working class
