Over the last three years the Democratic Party has embraced aspects of society that frankly turn a lot of people's stomachs.

Everytime I hear the "record breaking" I know that people forget that good records haven't been kept all that long.

@coolbreeze4576 As a Christian l recognize that all of us are sinners. Some may be greater sinners than others. Some may sin less. But we all sin. Any sin is an affront to God. All we can do is admit our sin and pray for forgiveness.

@missingno81 Why? Lack of usable locations for such? Refusal on the part of local or state governmental bodies to plan for such? Public opposition to any such plans? Public demand that existing dams and reservoirs be removed? Not pointing fingers. Just asking questions.

The Civilian Clinate Corps or the Civilian Climate Cops?

Any state issued ID cards do have them.

@243SUGARCUBE I don't see voter ID as big problem. I do see roadblocks that a State may erect in getting an ID a big problem. Get on a commercial flight in the US without one. You can't. Return something to a store without a receipt. You need an ID. Your right to vote in local, state and national elections is balanced by the need for those elections to fair, open and excempt from voter fraud. Voter ID is one way to prevent voter fraud.

This is what happens when you put an ideologue lawyer in charge of an agency

@RightSideofLeft As AOC found out to her dismay.

I have one question for the Democrats. Why is it that everytime a prominent White (1) or Hispanic Democrat addresses a primarily African-American (2) audience they try to adopt the Black Preacher manner of speaking. I'm thinking of Hillary. I'm thinking of AOC. 1) If everything else can be capitalized then why not this 2) I really do not like the use of hyphenated labels for discribing so called communities in the US.

Are convicted sex offenders criminals? Damn straight they are. Prior to conviction there is presumption of innocence. In 1982 l served on jury in regards to two counts of 1st degree sexual assault. My mind was made up until the state brought the "victims" room mate to the stand. The upset the whole case. It turned out after the trial one of the jurors knew a baliff. The baliff told him that the same women had cried rape with 5 or 6 guys previously.

@AdamCrowe-b6m Most districts would just vote in the same type of personality. Or worse. And it goes both ways.

The Democrats kicked working class Americans to the curb when NAFTA passed.

To quote Mel Brooks. "We have to protect our phoney baloney jobs!".

Tulsi experienced the same thing Ronald Reagan experienced. They did not leave the Democratic Party. The Party left us.

If any of the States passes Voter ID Bill's that require certain forms of identification* I have no problem with that. If that State then makes it harder to obtain the required identification by closes State offices that issue said IDs then yes voter ID can be voter suppression. An example would be a State passes legislation that you need some form of ID issued by a State office (typically the DMV**). But then closes a large number of DMV offices by "consolidating" multiple offices together with limited hours that is a way it could be done. An example would be if you have let's say five primarily rural counties with fairly low population and each county has a DMV office. The State closes four of them and consolidates those offices into one office that is as far away as possible from a certain population some State officials may try to dis-enfranchise. And that is the only way Voter ID can be voter suppression. The idea I've heard liberals float about Voter ID that certain minorities or racial groups would basically too lazy or stupid obtain said ID is truely racist. *the ID can be drivers license or state issued IDs used in lieu of the aforementioned. Requiring multiple forms of ID at the polls is wrong IMO. As long as you have ID issued by the State you reside in that should be enough. ** let's not mention a visit to the DMV can be a case of voter suppression all by itself

@oatnoid I'm not throwing up my hands. Merely pointing out how Voter ID, Voter Validation systems could be misused.
