  3. The numeric system we use today was one of the greatest inventions human history. I find it hard to believe that no other society that was using math did not do the same thing. Not the same symbols. But the use of a smallset of symbols that can be combined in ways to represent trillions upon trillions of numbers. PS Glad to see you credit the Indians.
