  3. I wonder just how many cavalry the US Army and the British Army had sitting in warehouses in 1939. I know the US still had horse calvary in the late 30s. The last US Army cavalry was in the Philippines in late 41 or early 42. PS If I misspelled cavalry I always get them and the Mount outside of the walls of Jerusalem confused.
