I had an 84 model in the late 90s with the 4 cylinder. Only issue l ever had with it was when l changed the fuel filter a fhunk of something got into the carb. Took a lot of messing around to get the crap out so it would run right. I didn't buy it to be a Jeep. I bought it as a small station wagon. For which it served well.
