When it comes to YouTube channels that deal with actual living history or with historical artifacts I prefer to that everyone, from the presenter to those who comment check their political views at the door. I find I enjoy your channel because of the emphasis on the day to day aspects of late 18th and early 19th Century America*. Its focus on what people actually had to do in their lives not only to survive but prosper. There are a few other historical channels l find I enjoy. Some have to do with historical firearms. One of these specifically is Ian McCollum's Forgotten Weapons. I dont remember him ever making a political comment on his channel as his focus is on the development and mechanical features of the artifact in question. Another is British Muzzleloaders. His focus there is on not just the historic firearms but also on the drill and shooting practices of British military arms from the Brown Bess through to the Enfield MK IV. Included in this is also the web harness, uniforms and equipment. Plus he throws in a bit of humor too. If I want politics I'll go to a politically oriented channel. *America in terms of what today is the US. I am well aware that there other countries in the Americas.
