  1. camaro is a drivers car its not even designed for straight line acceleration... its focus is handling HINTS why its more of a drivers car.... the shelby is just meant for straight line....

  2. shelby GT500 after full package cost / dealership fees = 70K$ - 79K$ Camaro Zl1 after full package cost / dealership fees = 45K$ - 56K$ large price gap but to be expected since the ZL1 is supposed to compete mustang BOSS while the shelby GT500 supposed to be the Z06, although shelby has never over taken the z51 (base vette with performance package) still a good competition.
