  1. ​ @rodneyfungus8249  As a military linguist Commander Nielsen does speak Russian close to native. He has direct experience interacting with Russians and understands our mentality. He showed detailed knowledge in his early videos and still partly does. That being said, I would not recommend to take everything he said about Russians for true value. His YouTube channel developed into being in the first place a tool for spreading Anti-Russian propaganda. Analysis plays a secondary role as carrier material.
