I'd say Biden is a flat-out enemy. They might have worked together a few times, but everyone knows a few asshole coworkers. In terms of policy, Biden is no friend to regular people and the progressive base. He wants to deny people healthcare, stay in all of Obama's wars, do next to nothing about the climate disaster, pass more terrible trade deals, continue mass incarceration, and put everyone back to sleep. Even if you compare Biden to Obama, Biden in no way compares to 2008 Obama, who ran slightly progressive and could excite new voters. Obama originally picked Biden as VP to appeal to conservatives. Considering Obama later described his own policies as "Moderate Republican" what does that make Biden?
