  2. Do you mean the Egyptian comedian Bassem Youssef? His show was directly inspired by Jon Stewart, and had been canceled by the government out of censorship. Yeah, he should have been the replacement.

  4. Acknowledging the fact that 9/11 was done by Al-Qaeda and Saudi Arabia does not exonerate the US from culpability. Saudi Arabia has always been a top ally, the CIA armed and trained the group that became Al-Qaeda, and the mastermind was someone once hailed in the US media as a hero and freedom fighter. The US is currently allied with Al-Qaeda and ISIS due to interventions in Syria and Yemen.
