  2. Actually yes, because it means profits for the arms manufacturers, which benefit the Pentagon. The only way to create demand for products like ammunition and bombs is if those munitions are expended, and it doesn't matter if those bullets go into innocent civilians overseas or innocent civilians within US borders. If the bullets just sit there in someone's collection, then the manufacturers aren't selling any.
