  1. Well here in Australia it doesn't make much sense. Very little infrastructure (e.g. not possible to drive between Sydney and Melbourne) and say Canberra to Newcastle goes from 5 hours in a ICE vehicle to and overnight drive in a EV due to recharging times. In addition cars make up about 7% of emissions here compared to coal fired power stations, industry, etc.
