@douili450 Its interesting this terminology. In British / Commonwealth Armies you can have Armoured / Artillery / Signals / Engineer / ... Regiments and Infantry Battalions which are roughly the same size, or you can have several Infantry Battalions that are part of the same Regiment (e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Battalions, the Parachute Regiment. In the US you have Cavalry Regiments that are the size of Brigades. Its all very much a case of "what's in a name". :)
