  1. Britain is famous for its unionised workforce, with unions that cannot see the big picture. The UK car industry was destroyed by five main things:- 1. Incompentent management; 2. Unionised workers often on strike. 3. A pervasive worker attitude of "us against them'" - workers constantly screwing the company. 4. No commitment to quality. 5. Government meddling, including giving grants to the most lame of companies.. The British electronics industry was destroyed by the same things.
