  1. Very interesting scenery, but hilarious! All car horns were blipped with the exact same rhythm, and all cars are purple, even the (then) old ones. I don't think paint manufacturers mastered making a really good lasting blue or purple paint until after this time period. In fact, Ford (at least in Australia) was still having trouble with purple paint in the early 1970's - my mother bought a purple Ford and it had to be resprayed a few years later.

  2. I forgot to say that this video has all car horns sounding on the exact same tone and pitch too! And a lot of them would have had klaxons, which sound quite different.
