@malcolmmarzo2461 Yes, kerosene. Definitely not diesel fuel, which is intended for compression ignition and a disaster in a spark ignition engine. Kerosene is cheaper fuel to make than gasoline, which is why aircraft jet engines run on kerosene. But kerosene was rendered obsolete for tractors in the early 1950's when high speed diesel engines such as the Perkins became available. Diesel engines use less than half the fuel of kerosene engines, completely changing the economics.

It looks like they are using Britool torque wrenches - spare no expense!

It is a low volume plant. The expense of modern automation probably cannot be justified, as it would be in a Western plant turning quantities 1000 times greater.. Locally competitive due to cheap labour perhaps.
